Let's talk (tart)...about love

Questa torta ha spopolato per un po’ nei blog d’oltralpe (dopo essere aver rappresentato una sfida tra pasticceri non professionisti in un’emissione televisiva).

This tart has had a lot of success recently in French food blogs (since it represented a challenge among non –professional pastry chef during a tv show).

Cette tarte a fait la une des blogs de cuisine pendant un bon moment en France (les lecteurs français savent que cela fut à la suite de l’émission de M6).

Il mio post precedente sulla cugina (di campagna) della Tarte Tatin ha scatenato reazioni destato interesse (... si perchè bisogna vedere il bicchiere mezzo pienoJ): mia cugina ha prontamente richiesto la versione originale, e un'amica, amante di dolci alle mele – abbiamo tutti un lato oscuro, mi ha lanciato una sfida.

Eccola qua, quindi, la vera Tarte Tatin! ...dedicata alle due M...

My post about the (country) cousin of Tarte Tatin has incited some reactions aroused interest (…yes, because it is important to look at the bright side of a situationJ): my cousin has soon asked me the original version of the tart, and a friend, keen of apples cakes – everyone has a dark side, challenged me.

So, here it is, the real Tarte Tatin! ...dedicated to the two M…

Mon post sur la cousine (de campagne) de la Tarte Tatin a déclenché des réactions éveillé de l’intérêt (…eh oui, il faut voir le verre à moitié pleinJ) : ma cousine m’a toute suite demandé la version originale de la tarte, et une amie, qui aime les gâteaux aux pommes – nous avons tous un côté obscur, m’a défié.

Donc, la voilà la vraie Tarte Tatin ! …dédiée aux deux M…

 

La cugina (di campagna) della Tarte Tatin

Premetto che non sono fan dei dolci alle mele, sarà che ne esistono a migliaia e a me sembra che si assomiglino tutti, sarà che banalizzo e non so apprezzare la semplicità e classicità delle torte alle mele.... Fatto sta che ne salvo solo due: l'apple pie e la tarte Tatin. Denominatore comune: la quantità esagerata di mele che contengono, perchè in fondo se torta alle mele dev'essere allora che mele siano (tante!).

I must say first of all that I am not a fan of apple tarts, maybe because there are thousands and they all taste almost the same to me, maybe because I trivialize  and I cannot appreciate the simplicity and classical nature of an apple tart… I only “save” two of them: apple pie and tart Tatin. Common denominator: the huge amount of apples used in these recipes, because if it has to be an apple tart, then it should have apples (lots of!).

Je dois admettre que je ne suis pas fan des gâteaux et tartes aux pommes, peut-être parce-que il y en a à milliers et pour moi elles se ressemblent toutes (oui je sais je n’y comprends rien!), peut-être parce-que je banalise et je ne sais pas apprécier la simplicité e l’esprit classique d’une tarte aux pommes… Mais bon, j’en sauve deux : l’apple pie et la tarte Tatin. Dénominateur commun : la quantité importante des pommes que ces deux recettes contiennent, car si tarte aux pommes  doit être, alors que pommes (beaucoup) soient.
